Soar Like an Eagle
Isaiah 40:31 (KJB) But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
Waiting for anything seems like a foreign concept for many people in this fast-paced and immediate gratification kind of world we live in today.
The popular concept of receiving immediate gratification is far removed from a biblical concept of waiting on God and placing trust in His timing and provision. You see, God’s way and timing are not in alignment with a hurried pace of mankind, nor aligned together with a human’s natural whims and desires.
Any notion that a person can fulfill his or her desires by himself by finding fulfillment and satisfaction in things and person of this world apart from God is a farce. Anything that a person chooses to place trust in apart from God only gives temporary satisfaction at best and will ultimately leave a trail of tears and troubles.

Waiting on God, however, will undoubtedly provide satisfaction, stamina, and strength as a man patiently waits on God’s way and timing. Just as an eagle dynamically soars high in the sky, a man who waits for God can rise above his circumstances in this world.
