Starving for Wisdom
Ephesians 5:15-17 (KJB) See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, 16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. 17 Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.
The times in which we live are filled with empty-hearted souls void of wisdom of God. This kind of spiritual atmosphere is nothing different than the condition of many souls in ancient times. Though this world drowns in an overload of information, undoubtedly you understand that useless data is not given by God but created by man. Foolish people seek understanding reasoned by man in this dark world while spiritually informed souls seek knowledge freely given by God.
Walking wisely is only possible inside a personal spiritual relationship with God. Sincere wisdom given from above is the only guiding point that can steer an individual to know what the will of God is for their life. God directs humbled and softened hearts with eternal wisdom and allows pride-filled hearts to burn and crash with foolishness in this wicked world.
Time is a precious earthly commodity for understanding things of God. Use your time wisely and allow your steps to be directed by God, rather than spiritually stumbling and starving for wisdom, rampant among wickedness at work in this dark world.
