They Were All Afraid

Acts 9:26 (KJB) And when Saul was come to Jerusalem, he assayed to join himself to the disciples: but they were all afraid of him, and believed not that he was a disciple.

This verse points to the fear and anxiety at work inside the hearts and minds of these professing men of God.  These disciples were taken aback by Paul daring to join in with them as a disciple.  They were not hospitable or approachable ...
