The Author and Finisher of Faith
Hebrews 12:2 (KJB) Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Too many people have a high opinion of themselves. Many have strong confidence in their position, goodness, and morals. Perhaps they find peace and comfort in meeting religious rules and traditions. But, observing ... Continue Reading →

A Man Cannot Buy or Sell God’s Mercy and Grace
Acts 3:1-6 (KJB) Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour. 2 And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple; 3 Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the ... A Little Faith is a Lot When God is Involved
Hebrews 11:30 (KJB) By faith the walls of Jericho fell down, after they were compassed about seven days.
This power packed scripture verse is found smack dab right in the middle of a litany of verses about individuals who chose to place faith in God. Some call this chapter of Hebrews the “Faith Hall of Fame.” It mentions several Old Testament people, including Rahab, Moses, Gideon, and others you are ... Continue Reading →

God’s Promises, His Law, and His Wrath Against Sin
Romans 4:13-15 (KJB) For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith. 14 For if they which are of the law be heirs, faith is made void, and the promise made of none effect: 15 Because the law worketh wrath: for where no law is, there is no transgression.

Ask in Faith, Believe, and Receive
Mark 11:23-24 (KJB) For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. 24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye ... God is Always Faithful
2 Timothy 2:13 (KJB) If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.
Even when mankind is unfaithful in his spiritual ignorance or even within his personal relationship with God, God cannot be unfaithful.
For God to be unfaithful He would have to be disloyal to Himself. This is impossible as God cannot deny Himself or live removed from who He is and has always been.
People who choose to deny God and suppress His ... Continue Reading →

Are You a Naysayer?
The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe. (John 20:25 KJV)
Thomas is the infamous “doubting disciple.” He refused to believe about the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Thomas could not believe it until he ... Continue Reading →

In A Deep Pit
To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. How long wilt thou forget me, O LORD? for ever? how long wilt thou hide thy face from me? How long shall I take counsel in my soul, having sorrow in my heart daily? how long shall mine enemy be exalted over me? (Psalm 13:1-2 KJV)
We all find ourselves down trodden and immersed in a deep spiritual pit. A valley of no hope and only despair. We ... Continue Reading →

Faith is the Opposite of Fear
When Pilate therefore heard that saying, he was the more afraid; And went again into the judgment hall, and saith unto Jesus, Whence art thou? But Jesus gave him no answer. (John 19:8-9 KJV)
Pilate was a man who took careful stock of all that was happening around him. He was on high personal alert using both his eyes and ears to navigate through the unusual circumstances before him. He did not know what ... Continue Reading →
