Ephesians 3:17 (KJB) That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love.
Faith is the spiritual component that receives the very presence of Christ to dwell inside his or her softened heart. Without trust in God, no man or woman can house the Spirit of God or be rooted and grounded in His unlimited presence and power.
Without His supernatural presence, a heart is not set aside for God but naturally aligned in step with the ... Continue Reading →

Avoid Foolish and Unlearned Questions
2 Timothy 2:22-23 (KJB) Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart. 23 But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes.
The Word of God gives us valuable insight and direction as we walk in this world. It also gives us places and actions to avoid. That is what is presented in these above verses, a call ... Continue Reading →

The Thief Deserved to Die
Luke 23:42-43 (KJB) And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom. 43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.
Salvation is solely based on unmerited favor with God. Certainly, this biblical record of how one thief at Calvary came to personally know Jesus Christ with nothing to offer towards his salvation. There was no work he could ... Continue Reading →

The Author and Finisher of Faith

A Little Faith is a Lot When God is Involved
Hebrews 11:30 (KJB) By faith the walls of Jericho fell down, after they were compassed about seven days.
This power packed scripture verse is found smack dab right in the middle of a litany of verses about individuals who chose to place faith in God. Some call this chapter of Hebrews the “Faith Hall of Fame.” It mentions several Old Testament people, including Rahab, Moses, Gideon, and others you are ... Continue Reading →

God’s Promises, His Law, and His Wrath Against Sin
Romans 4:13-15 (KJB) For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith. 14 For if they which are of the law be heirs, faith is made void, and the promise made of none effect: 15 Because the law worketh wrath: for where no law is, there is no transgression.
Faith in ... Continue Reading →

Ask in Faith, Believe, and Receive
Mark 11:23-24 (KJB) For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. 24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye ... God is Always Faithful
2 Timothy 2:13 (KJB) If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.
Even when mankind is unfaithful in his spiritual ignorance or even within his personal relationship with God, God cannot be unfaithful.
For God to be unfaithful He would have to be disloyal to Himself. This is impossible as God cannot deny Himself or live removed from who He is and has always been.
People who choose to deny God and suppress His ... Continue Reading →
