God’s Grace Has Spiritual Standards
Titus 2:11-12 (KJB) For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, 12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world.
God’s grace is not just a “spiritual throw blanket” for use in covering our sin. Or to allow us to do anything we want. Putting on God’s grace comes with a choice, a cost, His standards, and holy expectations.

David was to Attack the Philistines from Behind
1 Chronicles 14:13-16 (KJB) And the Philistines yet again spread themselves abroad in the valley. 14 Therefore David inquired again of God; and God said unto him, Go not up after them; turn away from them, and come upon them over against the mulberry trees. 15 And it shall be, when thou shalt hear a sound of going in the tops of the mulberry trees, that then thou shalt go out ... One God, Not Many
1 Timothy 2:5-6 (KJB) For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; 6 Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.
There is a significant difference between a God who is alive and a multitude of dead and dormant gods.
First, notice the little “g” and the capital “G” in the spelling. This capitalization is of great importance for it implies His position above ... Continue Reading →

Awestruck by His Word
Psalm 119:161 (KJB) SCHIN. Princes have persecuted me without a cause: but my heart standeth in awe of thy word.
It is a sad fact today that many hearts have failed to stand in awe of the power and presence of God, or His Word. God Personally Showed Up
2 Chronicles 5:13-14 (KJB) It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the LORD; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised the LORD, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the ... When I Saw Him

Evil Waxing Worse and Worse
2 Timothy 3:13 (KJB) But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.
This world is filled with evil men.
As time winds down, there is no doubt that the presence of evil is becoming worse and worse.
This truth should not surprise any person who is familiar with the rise and reign of evil or its final fall as recorded in God’s Word. God spared no truth in telling mankind that ... Continue Reading →

God Did Not Hide His Utter Distaste for Sodom

Singing About the Lord in Captivity
Psalm 137:3-4 (KJB) For there they that carried us away captive required of us a song; and they that wasted us required of us mirth, saying, Sing us one of the songs of Zion. 4 How shall we sing the LORD’S song in a strange land?
