Yes, only God is worthy of our worship and honor. Worship is the spiritual practice of giving your very best reverence and value to God. In fact, adoration of God is essential, or vital, in having a genuine personal relationship with God. Colossians 3:17 (KJB) And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
This verse does not say do whatever you want to do.
It does not say bring some of your situations to God.
