Outward Rituals But No Heart Change
For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge. (Romans 10:2 KJV)
Paul is specifically speaking about the beliefs of Jewish people in this verse. They were eager about God but were flawed in doctrine. They certainly believed in God but did not possess knowledge of Him in their heart.
