He Became Poor
2 Corinthians 8:9 (KJB) For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.
When a man hears the word “poor” he most often thinks in term of financial poverty or a lack of funds. Financial woes are not the meaning of the word poor as used in this verse.
