The Vine is Essential

John 15:6 (KJB) If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.

I cannot overstate the obvious- the vine of a plant is central to its continued life.  If branches or stems of a plant are removed or trying to exist outside of its central vine they will certainly quickly fade and wither away.  ...
