We cannot see God without His purity filling our heart.

Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God. (Matthew 5:8 KJV)

This verse is beatitude from the Sermon on the Mount. The Bible tells us the condition of our heart is essential to our spiritual health.  Our heart condition affects the overall condition including our senses.  Man either has use of his natural senses tuned to the god of this world or is fortified and supernaturally guided by God.

Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. (Proverbs 4:23 KJV)

Everything in life springs forth from the condition of our heart.  If our heart is spiritually ill our outward actions and mindset will be hampered by spiritual illness.

God designed man to be pure, healthy, and holy in his heart complete with a humbleness of attitude and set aside for the honor and glory of God.  Adam was created holy and pure in heart but sin changed the health, atmosphere and temperature of his heart.  Sin changed man’s heart structure from holy and godly to unrighteous and wicked.

God’s Word says those who have been made pure, spiritually alive, and well in the heart have the purity of God to flourish in their heart and about them as they sojourn in this life.  The holiness of God residing in man’s heart affects life from the inside out.
