God will keep you upright in this world.
He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber. Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. (Psalm 121:3-4 KJV)
God has promised more than once to provide stability and unrelenting strength to those who have a personal relationship with Him. This verse tells us “He will not suffer thy foot to be moved…” guaranteeing, in the context of this verse His own Jewish people, together with all children of God today, who desire to remain upright. Any person can find a firm and unmovable foundation in a personal relationship with God.
Secondly, this verse says God will never slumber or fall asleep while “sitting in the driver’s seat” in our life. God will never give up, give out, or fail to keep a quickened alive person sure footed and spiritually centered and wrapped in God’s strength and will while sojourning in this world.
