Have you heard the words of The Faithful Witness?

And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, (Revelation 1:5 KJV)

The perfect witness in a pending court case would be the witness who spoke the unguarded truth regarding the incident at hand in conjunction with a team of lawyers using clear evidence and working towards the prosecution of the criminal.  The defense team of lawyers would be looking for those who give an account bolstering their client’s version of events that took place and poking holes in the persecution’s attempts to hang a guilty verdict upon this same man.

Jesus Christ is The Faithful Witness.  He is in every sense speaking and portraying an accurate truthful account of the events that have happened in history and will happen in the future through prophecy.  His account of events since the beginning of time is precise and truthful down to the minutest of details.  There is no poking of holes in any revelation He has spoken forth or inspired to be written in scripture.

His example paints a spiritual portrait for us to follow while sojourning upon this earth.  Each and every word we speak is important and whether it is based upon the truth of God or a lies based upon the god of this world. The Bible tells us each will give an accounting of every word we speak making it so important to give thought, based upon the truth of scripture, to each and every word that comes out of our mouth:

But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned. (Matthew 12:36-37 KJV)

Have you tuned in to the words of Jesus Christ written down by the Apostle John, at the inspiration of God, for you, including a promise of a spiritual blessing from reading His Word in the Bible?  The Bible is the true accounting of God and all history since the beginning of time.  The Bible does not contain shallow words of man but true and powerful words of God.  His Word is powerful and contains a promise of eternal life for anyone who accepts His shed blood giving us the free gift of eternal life.

takeupyourcrossredocmclearWhat words come out of your mouth as you sojourn upon this earth; words based upon His perfect witness or words according to the god of this world?
