Are you living with your spiritual eyes and ears wide open?
And he said, Hear ye now, O house of David; Is it a small thing for you to weary men, but will ye weary my God also? Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. (Isaiah 7:13-14 KJV)
The virgin birth of the Lord was prophesied or announced many places in the Bible including by the prophet Isaiah in these verses of scripture
This divinely conceived birth was to be a living and breathing sign from God manifested in the flesh. It was not an ordinary or customary birth any young woman of these ancient biblical times could bring about in this world. Mary was chosen by God to give birth to Jesus.
This was not an average baby, rather Jesus’s birth was supernatural in origin and filed with power and might by God. Jesus was born on this earth in the flesh and is the Son of God. God would send His Son to be a living sign unto His people. God did not choose to bring forth Jesus’s birth in any usual manner but brought about Jesus in supernatural fashion to open the spiritual eyes of His people for the purpose of catching their wayward attention moving them out of their spiritual disbelief into a personal relationship with God the Father.
Many missed this wonderful sign over two thousand years ago failing to come into a personal relationship with Him. Today many live on this earth with their spiritual eyes and ears shuttered tight, choosing to live in opposition to God’s will having no fellowship with Him on this earth and headed straight for an eternity spent agonizing in the fires of hell far removed from fellowship with God.
