Are you captivated by Christ or tossed about in stormy seas of life?
Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation. (Isaiah 12:2 KJV)
“Behold God is my salvation …” This is an amazing premise which should occupy and captivate the mind of those professing to have a personal relationship with God in faith through His Son Jesus Christ. It should be the primary focus at the forefront of our mind; used like a banner and waved boldly at the onslaught of dark and dismal thoughts and situations using God’s power to keep the devil at bay. The devil likes to throw fiery darts at us in hopes we capitulate and succumb to his many schemes and trickery and believe His cunning lies. The devil makes many partakers of his plots miserable and misplaced in this dark and dreary world overflowing with an abundance of darkness and evil.
All a person has to do today is turn on the radio or television to be sucked into the drama that is on the world’s stage and enveloping many; causing them to live in an ungodly existence of doubt, distrust, darkness, and fear of evil instead of standing staunchly in remembrance of His Word.
God’s Word says: “I will trust and not be afraid for the LORD JEHOVA is my strength and my song…” Can you place your trust in the power and presence of God who is the Author and Finisher of your salvation while you are in the midst of mega storms brewing around you? Or do you allow yourself to get caught up in the schemes of the devil that does not have your best spiritual interests at heart.
