What forces do you rely upon to battle the real enemy; your strength or the supernatural strength of God?

There is no king saved by the multitude of an host: a mighty man is not delivered by much strength. An horse is a vain thing for safety: neither shall he deliver any by his great strength. (Psalms 33:16-17 KJV)

There is no Army or Special Forces, Superman, or Batman and Robin, or Hollywood hero who can usher in enough prowess and strength for a certain, mighty, and eternal victory over the enemies which surround us upon this earth.   Not even the Incredible Hulk, MacGyver or The A Team can throw together a plan to foil the spiritual enemy mankind battles.  Hollywood effects have no effect upon these encounters.

Man’s real enemy is not physical in nature and cannot be physically seen or touched.  The enemy is not a group, a skin color, among governing officials, other countries, or amid hostile enemies who persist in staging constant contention, skirmishes and battles upon this earth.  The real enemy uses available earthly mechanisms and routes to accomplish his dark will through his power and dark forces.  Satan is the master or general of the dark spiritual forces and demons who operate upon this earth.  He and his band of demons are arrayed with many dark devices to carry out his wicked schemes and evil plans.

The Bible describes our enemy as a dark spiritual force:

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. (Ephesians 6:12-13 KJV)

Man cannot ever successfully employ earthly solutions for battles of a spiritual nature.   In biblical history horses and chariots were the best means of going into battle but only God can effectively battle spiritual enemies we face by employing His supernatural power and strength.  His power supersedes any force upon this universe; including all the earth and heavenly realm.

takeupyourcrossredocmclearDo you face your battles in victory with the supernatural power and strength of God?  Or do you attempt to fight with your own weak and wavering strength which will never bring about lasting victory?
