Are you living peacefully in the light of God; or existing amid the chaos and confusion without hope in this word?
Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! (Isaiah 5:20 KJV)
Everything in this world is moving hastily in reverse gear leading away from the solid truths of God. Great emphasis is placed upon those things which align up to the darkness of this world. The things of God are trampled upon or buried and suppressed marked as antiquated and not relevant in this modern world.
Evil is considered wickedly good and welcomed with open arms in this sin stained world while the goodness and unconditional love of God is being ostracized, highly detested, and labeled as hate. Soldiers for Christ are the new enemy and the Truth of God they speak is often considered hate speech. The eyes and ears of those who are captivated by the soft and accommodating standards of the god of this world choose to live according to his tolerant standards which are fixated upon a myriad of worldly principals cleverly weaved together forming a cornucopia of alternate lifestyle choices flourishing in this darkened environment in enmity to a holy God.
Many people think they can dwell in these worldly dark pleasures and harboring great sin in their life unbeknownst to anyone but themselves. Insisting they are not answerable to any authority greater than themselves for their choices, but this vindicating mindset is far removed from the Truth of God’s Word.
God clearly reveals all that is hidden making all things known in plain sight:
And the Pharisees also, who were covetous, heard all these things: and they derided him. And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God. (Luke 16:14-15 KJV)
Since the moment sin ran rampant and Adam was removed from the Garden of Eden the things which God loves and desires for mankind the world abhors. Everything that God despises and hates the world loves and desires. Paul taught much about this backward natural spiritual fashion exhibited by mankind’s flesh always in battle against the holiness and eternal peace of God pointing out that Jesus Christ already has the final victory and is resting upon His eternal work finished upon the cross.
Are you peaceful and holy in God’s view resting in Jesus Christ’s sweet eternal victory upon the cross; or trying to revive a deadly existence without God’s supernatural power and grace facing turmoil now and for all eternity?
