Take Up Your Cross January 30th 2015

Are you living under the weak auspices of self-governing; or living in submission to the supernatural power and authority of God?

For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. (Romans 10:3 KJV)

The Bible tells us righteousness comes from God.  Apart from Him there is not one ounce of goodness found in man.  Since the entrance of sin into this world mankind is naturally cloaked in darkness.  Man continually misses the mark or standard God has established upon this earth and in the heavenly realm in his own weak strength.

God clearly tells the Jewish people and mankind collectively, that the natural man is weak, impure, and unrighteous left to themselves:

But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away. And there is none that calleth upon thy name, that stirreth up himself to take hold of thee: for thou hast hid thy face from us, and hast consumed us, because of our iniquities. (Isaiah 64:6-7 KJV)

Those who are living in this world according to their own strength and in spiritual disharmony to the things of God are not living in submission to the holiness and authority of God; but are living unto the principles and authority the god of this world has erroneously established upon this earth. Many people are living in this blighted fashion because they are spiritually dull or ignorant, not able to discern or view the supernatural authority of God over all things of life.

The Bible tells us:

For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: (Colossians 1:16 KJV)

God does have exclusive authority and presence over the entire spiritual realm; including all things whether they take place upon this earth and in Heaven.  All individuals do have the authority of God over their life; whether they choose to acknowledge His eternal presence or not.

One day all will be subject to the holiness and authority of God.
