Are you a clean vessel meet for the Master’s use?

And whatsoever the unclean person toucheth shall be unclean; and the soul that toucheth it shall be unclean until even. (Numbers 19:22 KJV)

When mankind remains unclean he contaminates everything he comes in contact with.  That is why God takes the matter or separation so seriously.  Man is either living separated unto the holiness and righteousness of God; or He is living among the contamination of this world.  A man cannot play in the devil’s pig pen and walk hand in hand with God.  It is not possible.  This scripture verse is from the Old Testament and we live in the New Testament Age of Grace but this precept of separation is applicable throughout all ages and a teaching man needs to hear often today.

This verse was written in the context of mankind living under the Law of God and not grace.  Man in the Old Testament continually needed to be spiritually cleaned and scrubbed by offering shed blood animal sacrifices for sin over and over again.  The Old Testament rote ritual or practice of sacrificial offerings for sin is not necessary today.  Man does not have to offer animal shed blood sacrifices upon the altar in the temple because The Perfect Sacrifice the Lamb of God was slain for the entire sin debt: past, present, and future.  His offering for sin was once for all while the system of animal sacrifice was not sufficient to remove sin.  Jesus Christ’s sacrifice at Calvary permanently eradicated sin savingd whosoever places their faith in Him.

Today man who chooses to live without placing faith in God is harboring a darkened heart condition in a vessel worn and tainted by their own dark sin nature.  There is no sacrifice left for the man who continues to live in sin being spiritually unclean living dead in his sin and trespasses.

However, those who have repented of their sin unto the holiness and righteousness of God, have had their sins removed and buried in the deepest sea.  They have put on a new vessel meet for God’s use.  The man or woman of God must be separated unto His use; otherwise they are serving the wicked schemes of the god of this world in darkness and deprivation of sin rather than living in the holiness and righteousness separated unto the perfection of God.
