Take Up Your Cross March 30th 2015

Do you live foolishly entrenched in this world or spiritually robust in healthy fear of God?

The rod and reproof give wisdom: but a child left to himself bringeth his mother to shame. (Proverbs 29:15 KJV)

In many instances the rod of reproof correction has been stashed away, buried, made insignificant, or thrown out the window by many families today.  Reproof and correction have been replaced by time outs, little behavior alteration, often no ownership of blame whatsoever; allowing children to run with the flow of popular social ignorance brought on by an avalanche of worldly philosophy and values rather than the things of God based upon His Word.  Many families have been socially reengineered, overruled, and overtaken by these worldly ideas and concepts allowing them to flourish in many homes today.  This has brought about an onslaught or stream of disobedience and rebellion against the things of God and against authority at many levels upon this earth today.

The world has many ignorant and lost souls buying in to the belief that the Bible is outdated and antiquated in today’s modern society.  Many have ushered in new ideas along with answers to deflect and derail away from the things of God comprising any necessary reproof from the ultimate source of authority; choosing rather to leave any correction in the hands of man who often severely falters in this arena believing they have no higher authority they must answer to.

However God’s answers are righteous and fashionable; relevant in biblical times and the only answer that will bring about acceptable behavior in society today as man esteems the things of God in reverent fear and understands He is their ultimate authority now and forever in the eternal realm.

The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction. (Proverbs 1:7 KJV)
