Have you been exposed by the law of God and left spiritually naked or cloaked in His righteousness?
For I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto God. (Galatians 2:19 KJV)
The law of God acts like a mirror with the sole purpose of exposing sin. The law reveals those things within us that are in enmity to the perfect law of God. There is not one man who can perfectly keep God’s law upon this earth. In fact the natural man does not comprehend the law of God and is left spiritually naked and destitute; without being quickened alive and in spiritual fellowship with God.
The man who has been spiritually quickened alive has the very nature of God living inside his heart and God dwelling within him makes him spiritually dead to sin and alive unto Christ. However, while man sojourns on this earth amid much wickedness and evil they are subject to falling into temptation because of the desires of their flesh resisting the spiritual nature of God residing within them. God has given each man freewill to make his own decisions: by his flesh, or according to God’s holy nature. Jesus Christ perfectly resisted satan’s pointed temptations while he was alive in the flesh on this earth. Mankind is positionally perfect in God but practically in his everyday walk can fall into temptation through decisions he faces each day.
