Imagine the luster of His supernatural Shekinah Glory

Now the cherubims stood on the right side of the house, when the man went in; and the cloud filled the inner court. Then the glory of the LORD went up from the cherub, and stood over the threshold of the house; and the house was filled with the cloud, and the court was full of the brightness of the LORD’S glory. And the sound of the cherubims’ wings was heard even to the outer court, as the voice of the Almighty God when he speaketh. (Ezekiel 10:3-5 KJV)

This supernatural event described in these verses of scripture was a vision of the glory of the Lord from heaven filling and departing from the tabernacle upon the earth.  This man in white, the vision of the glory of the Lord, came down from Heaven to the earth to dwell within the temple in this lively vision or dream that Ezekiel saw.

When the glory of The Lord entered into the temple it was filled with His glory and this holy illumination was flowing outward around the temple into the court way.  The cherubim’s wings were flapping and the air current was flowing swiftly through them and could be heard inside the temple from the outer court as they flew away from the temple.  The illuminating bright radiance of His Shekinah glory surrounded the earthly temple inside and without in the outer courtyard as the temple could not contain all His wonderful glory.

The clouds which had gathered about the temple as His presence was made known were a sign of His impending judgment to come down likened unto a hammer upon the people.  This man in white began to hear and follow the commandments given by the voice of God as He stood in the temple near the throne.

Can you even begin to conceive the glory of this vision; or better yet imagine existing as a little mouse in the corner of the temple and viewing all His Shekinah glory first hand?  One day in the Heavenly realm we will be able to meet Him face to face as He perfects our sinful nature and ushers us into eternal rest with Him and all His glory!
