Satan was once a beautiful creation of God until sin marred him.

Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created. Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee. (Ezekiel 28:13-15 KJV)

These scripture verses describes the beautiful appearance of the devil before his fall from heaven in the most clear picture the Bible give us of how he looked.  Satan was created by God in glorious fashion and covered in various precious stones and gold.  Imagine the lustrous appearance he would have had especially along with the shining brilliance of the glory of God.

Not only was he covered in precious stones but the Bible tells us that he was formed with an instrument, an organ of some sort with pipes, which protruded from within him outwardly.  Satan was formed as a musical being.  Some would say he was the musical director of Heaven prior to his sin and fall unto earth.

The Bible alludes that Satan was the angel which covered.  Many understand this verse to say that Satan, created as a magnificent and perfect angel whose heavenly job it was to hover over the Lord operating in the heavenly realm as his “right hand man.”

This description is far removed from satan’s presence today.  His personal choice to become prideful and sin against the holiness of God brought about evil and darkness upon him casting him from the perfection of Heaven unto earth.  A third of the angels of heaven were cast out along with satan setting up their ungodly dark and wicked presence in this world.

takeupyourcrossredocmclearThe presence of sin brought about the fall of satan, bringing evil and darkness unto the most beautiful and perfect angelic creature God ever created who fell from perfection bringing evil and disgrace upon earth.
