Prophecy clearly spells out God’s plan and bright promises for those who are separated unto Him.

For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. (2 Peter 1:21 KJV)

Prophecy did not come about by mankind, nor was it first spoken by man, or flow outward from any created object upon this earth.  Prophecy came directly from the mouth of God, or was God breathed, to certain men and women living upon this earth.  This age of prophetic revelation passed and no new declarations from God are to come upon the earth.  Also there is no new prophecy to be fulfilled before God determines it is time for Jesus’s triumphant return to this earth for collection of God’s saints.

Prophecy was God breathed or inspired by God with the sole purpose of giving man an understanding of events to come in the future of this earth.  God has laid out a declaration of all events from the beginning of time until the end of time as the earth is destroyed and everything that is not spiritual in nature burns and is ultimately destroyed in the end of time as we now know it.

For the Christian who knows for sure that he will one day reside in the eternal realm in fellowship with God the prophecy of the end of the world is good news not hard to comprehend and swallow; but to those who do not have a relationship with God is bitter pill to swallow now and for all eternity.

Does prophetic knowledge about this world coming to an end end create thoughts of eternal joy as you rest in peace in fellowship with God?  Or does the end of this world stir up bitter fear and spiritual strife as you live without having eternal hope for an eternity with God but rather will ace the flames of Hell.

takeupyourcrossredocmclearAre you clinging to God’s prophetic promises, including having an eternal future with Him forever, or are you expecting a last minute life boat rescue to drag you out of the fires of Hell?
