What eternal residence will you inherit in the eternal realm: Heaven or Hell?
Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. (1 Corinthians 6:9-10 KJV)
Do you realize a child of God has an inheritance waiting in Heaven? God has many blessings all set aside for His own spiritual family in the heavenly realm. These blessings are according to fruits and deeds done by man for God upon this earth. Man’s fruit is judged according to his positional standing in God through faith in the work of His Son on the cross; not according to any quality or quantity of work done; especially with a purpose of earning a spot in heaven for eternity.
Mankind who is spiritually dead and lost often believes that his works bring about a “golden ticket” or standing reservation in the heavenly eternal realm upon death. This is far from the Truth of God’s Word. There is no work that man can do to earn a spot in heaven.
An eternal inheritance in the heavenly realm only comes through a personal relationship with God by turning from feeding our sin nature to placing faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ upon the cross feasting rather on the spiritual things of God. God’s Word is absolutely clear about who will receive a portion of His inheritance and also points out who will not receive any spiritual inheritance.
Throughout the entire context of the whole canon of scripture God’s Word clearly defines that inheriting eternal life is a work of God not man and that man must live in obedience to God rather than in enmity to His commandments and precepts according to the darkness of the god of this world.
