The god of This World is a Thief
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. (John 10:10 KJV)
The god of this world is a thief who desires to steal our spiritual joy and destroy our livelihood. His wish for all mankind is that they exist spiritually dead both in this world and for all eternity. His operation is always dark and deadly. However, he cleverly masquerades his brand of darkness as every treasure and shiny trinket mankind has always wanted.
His brand of “spiritual funk” destroys mankind through feeding the pleasures of his hungry flesh.
God operates in the light at the opposite end of the spiritual spectrum. God desires all mankind have an abundant spiritual life, not just while existing physically upon this earth, but for all eternity. The spiritual life that God freely gives those who come to Him in faith lasts forever.
God’s spiritual essence feeds and satisfies even the innermost desires from the cracks and crevices of the quickened man’s heart.
