The Greatest Love
John 3:16 (KJB) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Some might equate the spiritual work of Jesus Christ on the cross at Calvary as being the greatest love story ever. There is a significant problem with this kind of faulty thinking- the love and spiritual work of Jesus Christ is not a story, a fable, or a fairy tale. The love of God is genuine, and His shed-blood sacrifice on the cross at Calvary was necessary. And yes, His love is the greatest, timeless, and lasting love ever.
It is essential to understand that everything that has been recorded in the Bible, and specifically this verse above, is one hundred percent true, eternally reliable, and speaks to us of unending love.
You see, God did send His Only Son to this world to save sinners; that’s specific to all people, including you and me. God desires for each person to live forever rather than to die in their sin. There is only one possible pathway to having eternal life, and God has provided it for whosever through His finished work upon Calvary.
God loved you so much that He sent Jesus Christ to die for sin. God’s gift to the world is eternal life and undying love. Have you opened this package from God and applied it to your life for His love has no borders or expiration?
