The Hour is Coming
John 5:28-29 (KJB) Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, 29 And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.
God warns us over and over again about the coming hour when all souls; dead or alive, will hear and rise to God’s voice. Perhaps this description seems more like a modern-day horror film or a science fiction thriller; however, one day, this will be a reality worldwide. Not one person can rightly claim to be astonished as these end-time events begin to unfold for God has revealed it to us in His Word.
These scripture verses and others similar point to a coming time of the resurrection from the grave of every dead body. Every tomb across this earth contains skeletal remains of people whose spirit has passed on to eternity. They are lying in wait to resurrect at the time in the end as appointed by God.
Did you catch that, every soul returns to God the moment of death? Not only that but every physical body remains on this earth in some fashion until God calls for them to rise unto resurrection and eternal life or resurrection and to face eternal damnation.
Every physical body is placed in a grave, or now is cremated, or is destroyed by a traumatizing death on this earth; every spirit is with the Lord upon death. Each spirit returns to its maker. God will call each body and every saved and lost soul to Himself as is recorded in His Word.
