The Hour Unknown
Matthew 24:36-37 (KJB) But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. 37 But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
The hour is not distinguished but the season is known.
Seasons have distinguishing signs. Summer has heat and sun. Winter has snow and cold. Fall has crisp weather and falling leaves. Spring has singing birds and pleasant temperatures. Each season varies somewhat from each other and can be easily identified in nature.
The same can be said of the times of Noah and the coming of the Son of man. In the times of Noah people were selfish and senseless. Living for themselves and catering to the will of the god of this world. There was an excessive amount of wickedness and sin running rampant in this world.
This description of the times of Noah could also be said of the times in which we live in today. Certainly, the coming of Jesus Christ could happen at any time. All prophecy has been fulfilled and there is nothing yet to take place before His triumphant return to gather His saints.
