The Mystery of Godliness
1 Timothy 3:16 (KJB) And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
A man cannot begin to understand all the spiritual truths and complexities of God. That is where genuine faith comes into play. A man can see, hear, or read wonderful things of God but he is unable to comprehend all the wonderful greatness of God from his limited vantage point on this earth. However, God blessed mankind with His Son who is The Word for simply revealing those things that can be understood from this side of heaven. God has also hinted about other prodigious details now veiled but to be revealed as a man enters his eternal rest inside sweet eternal fellowship with God.
A child of God knows for sure in his heart that God is and will always be God. Secondly, that He entered this world in the flesh in the tent of flesh as a man but was also Jesus Christ the Son, a part of the deity of God. Also, that He is the Creator, Author, and Finisher of life who holds the fate of both birth and death of every man, woman, and child.
This verse and the entire canon of Scripture reveals many wonderful things about God. There will be many more glorious things unveiled by Him in the eternal realm that no man could comprehend from his limited perch on this earth.
