The Word Made Flesh
John 1:14 (KJB) And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
The Word is none other than Jesus Christ. Yes, He was sent by God to come to this earth and live among men. His human life in existence as a man and at the same time as God, was a powerful testimony to his earthly family, His disciples, the crowds who followed Him, and anyone who personally crossed his path as He sojourned in this world.
Yes, Jesus Christ was a shining example of the supernatural power and presence of God. His short life, as well as His physical death on this earth, were all for the honor and glory of God. The grace and truth that was at work in the life of Jesus Christ to spiritually poke and affect other people about Him has always been available only through the holy and righteous character of God.
Jesus Christ came to earth in obedience to God. He willingly dwelled among men to present to them a living picture of the holy and righteous character of God with His short spiritual sojourn in this world.
