There is a Sure Cure
Acts 14:8-10 (KJB) And there sat a certain man at Lystra, impotent in his feet, being a cripple from his mother’s womb, who never had walked: 9 The same heard Paul speak: who stedfastly beholding him, and perceiving that he had faith to be healed, 10 Said with a loud voice, Stand upright on thy feet. And he leaped and walked.
This man spoken of in this verse was born a cripple. He was physically unable, from his birth, to walk. There are many people who were born on this earth that have a physical birth defect which has left them unable to move about in normal fashion in this world. There are many efforts at work to raise awareness and support for an assortment of physical shortcomings, debilitating diseases, and defects which afflict infants from birth. These are good causes, and worthy of our attention, often there is not anything that can be done to cure or correct these ills of a physical nature. Many time a person must learn to adapt and live with their physical limitations.
Man often fails to pay any attention to spiritual birth defects which afflict everyone and does have a sure cure.
All mankind is born spiritually deficient. He has a flaw in his spiritual heart condition from his birth. You and I were born spiritually deficient (Romans 3:23 KJB, Romans 5:12 KJB, Ecclesiastes 7:20 KJB). There is a sure cure from God for being spiritually crippled. It is always possible for an ailing spiritual man to stand upon his feet and walk. Spiritual healing is not possible in his own weakness but only made possible with the presence of the supernatural power of God.
