Trusting God in The Darkness

Isaiah 50:10-11 (KJB) Who is among you that feareth the LORD, that obeyeth the voice of his servant, that walketh in darkness, and hath no light? let him trust in the name of the LORD, and stay upon his God. 11 Behold, all ye that kindle a fire, that compass yourselves about with sparks: walk in the light of your fire, and in the sparks that ye have kindled. This shall ye have of mine hand; ye shall lie down in sorrow.

The message found in these verses is two-fold.  The first message is to trust in God, even when walking in a vast wilderness of life.  See, it does no good for a person to profess to trust in God when things are going well and back away when life gets tough.  A sincere child of God will not falter or lose hope, even when facing the darkest of days for he knows that the Light of God cannot ever be kindled, and you can be sure that God will deliver His own spiritual family unto Him and away from fires of Hell.

The second message found in these verses settles any lagging question among souls concerning the hard truth that God will certainly bring justice to His enemies.  It is true, for those who choose not to place hope in God, He will come through on his promise of eternal judgment.  God desires that each of us judge ourselves against His Truth.  However, for those who fail to judge their own heart, undoubtedly, they will come face to face with Jesus Christ whom God has chosen as The Judge of lost souls.  Because of making a personal choice to continue to sin they will be sentenced to Hell forever at the time of God’s choosing as a result of serving and savoring sin.

Every child of God will trust God having judged themselves against the holy and righteous character of God.  They will find joy no matter whether they are standing in this world whether it be good or bad circumstances.  They will enjoy sweet fellowship with God forever.  However, those who oppose God while physically alive on this earth will certainly be sentenced to Hell forever judged by Jesus Christ for their wicked deeds and swiftly turned away from His heavenly gates to reside in Hell forever.
