Ephesians 5:15-16 (KJB) See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, 16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
Walking circumspectly means standing vertical or upright rather than to be crawling on one’s hands and knees while living in this dark and desperate world. Secondly, this verse implies fools are the ones who are attempting to make it through these wicked times on their knees.
The wisdom of God always directs and teaches a man to walk upright and worthy. A child of God is to walk with his head up and looking unto God rather than looking down and out in this world. Answers for all things of life can be found with wisdom given of God while only questions and quandaries can be found by looking to the god of this world for answers.
Lastly, this world and everything in it will one day be judged and destroyed. A man is called by God to redeem the time at hand for one day soon it will be too late to receive any wisdom of God. Jesus Christ will usher saved souls to eternity and lost souls will suffer in foolishness forever.
