Walk Worthy of Your Calling
Ephesians 4:1-3 (KJB) I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, 2 With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; 3 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
God has a plan for every person. Walking worthy is to walk with God rather than choosing to walk in opposition to Him. Walking worthy is to accept God’s will and His way by laying down any inkling of self, chasing after one’s own desires, choosing to align with the god of this world rather than walking hand in hand with God.
It is good to note that choosing to walk with God does not mean a person will breeze through life never having any trials or troubles. However, it does mean that you are walking in step with God who is always right beside you, in front, behind, and above every step of the way in this wicked world.
Not only is He with a child of God but He fills His spiritual family with His heavenly brand of peace and satisfaction that will last forever. The god of this world only pacifies with a counterfeit harmony and vanishing fulfillment which fades with contrary winds.
