“And the LORD said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward: But lift thou up thy rod, and stretch out thine hand over the sea, and divide it: and the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea.” ( Exodus 14:15-16)
God provides awesome protection for each of His own children, just as He provided for the Israelites at the Red Sea to escape certain destruction. In their own human understanding of their circumstances, to the Israelites there seemed no way out, they were “boxed in” or “stuck in the mud” at the Red Sea but God provided a way when there was no logical way for the Israelites to escape.
In the same miraculous manner, He provided His divine protection and way forth for Daniel and his three friends as they faced certain death in the fiery furnace. They escaped certain death in an oven of fire without even a hint of smoke or cinder upon them. Other examples include Jonah in the belly of the whale, and Paul as he faced many adverse and harrowing situations. Joseph remained unharmed through situations, at the hands of his own brothers, who had left him to die in a pit. Joseph chose to help these same brothers in their time of need during a severe famine later in life.
“But God moments” are moments of divine victory in Him for those who are willing to drop all and follow His lead and call upon their life. These Biblical examples illustrate God provides just what is needed when it is needed, and divine protection and guidance as needed, even when we have moments of doubt and become sore afraid, He remains steadfast in us and through us. That is why we are to walk by faith in Him and not by sight of circumstances surrounding us. “(For we walk by faith, not by sight:)” 2 Corinthians 5:7
