What is Your Life Magnifying?
According to my earnest expectation and my hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but that with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether it be by life, or by death. (Philippians 1:20 KJV)
Paul expressed the desire to be found blameless by God.
Every child of God should share this spiritually worthwhile expectation.
Paul understood that shame and dishonor are always tools the devil uses to weaken the resolve of those who profess a relationship with God. The devil knows that dark condemnation works to heap blame and guilt upon mankind causing him to crawl rather than walk in this dark world.
However, the spiritual freedom found in an intimate spiritual relationship with God removes the Burden of sin, thereby resolving any lingering guilt and shame. The man of God always has new life that brings honor and glory to God, along with a newfound innocence and virtue in their life where once shame and embarrassment flourished.
If you have shame and blame at work in your life, there is a sin problem between you and God.
