Whatsoever You Ask
John 14:13-14 (KJV) And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.
It is shocking what one can receive by asking. Now I am not pointing to asking the government, your friend or family member, or your employer, requesting help from any person, group. Or the government for support is sure to come with strings attached. None of these entities can assist for free, for there is always a price tag coming for such aid.
I hope you can understand that every failure in life can be traced back to our failure to ask God. Failing to look to God carries an eternal cost that no soul can afford to dismiss with the wave of their hand with a carefree lifestyle without regard to God.
Though many try to live without contemplating God, this kind of life is dangerous indeed, especially considering that God alone can provide for any need you may have. God is clear that whatsoever we ask in His name, that He will do. However, many souls stumble over this simple declaration and continue to strive for what they want apart from knowing and serving God.
The spiritual bottom line – God can and will give us our heart’s desire, free of cost, precisely what we need and want by asking in the name of Jesus Christ the perpetual answer to bring both peace and satisfaction to us in this world and for all eternity.
