Which Resurrection Will You Take Part In?
John 5:28-29 (KJB) Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, 29 And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.
Did you know that there are going to be two resurrections when Christ returns to gather His people and another when He will rule and reign on this earth? One will be a resurrection unto new life. The other will be a resurrection unto damnation.
Which one will you face? For every single body will rise from the ground on this future day of reclamation by God from the grave.
Did you know there is a way to know for sure which bodily raising you will experience on that coming day. God’s Word contains the Truth about eternity in a variety of different scripture passages for cementing the Truth of God squarely into your heart and mind for moving beyond knowing that it will take place to knowing exactly where your perpetual address will forever be located.
John 11:25 states Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live.
This above verse tells us that any person who believes in God will live forever. However, that is not the end of the story for there are many people who choose not to believe in God and eternity and for those folks forever will be much different.
The Bible tells us in Revelation 20:15 (KJB) And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
The book of life mentioned above contains the names of those individuals who will live forever with God and on the other hand, we can deduce any omittance of names from this book as proof positive these individuals will reside in the lake of fire, or better known as hell, forever.
You can be sure that EVERY individual will be raised from this world to reside in eternity forever. However, the condition and address of his or her eternal spiritual state depend on the condition of their heart, whether it be aligned with God or in opposition to His authority.
