Willing To Endure
1 Timothy 4:10 (KJB) For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe.
The life of a sincere professing child of God is certainly not ever a bed of roses. Nor is it like taking a leisurely walk in a park. If you had to honestly reveal or describe what it is like in following Christ, you might say that some days are like canvassing among enemies on a battlefield. Or often akin to repeatedly swinging punches in a heated battle. Life on this earth can physically jab us, stab us in the back, and wear us down. Quite quickly, life can be too much when we take our focus off of Christ and place it on our circumstances.
Regardless of the playing field involved for us in this world, or any earthly imposed regulations, foes, or enemies at work about us, a sincere child of God can remain to stand and strong. He can go the course amid any suffering for the cause of Christ. A genuine Christian expects to face persecution, hardships, ridicule, and numerous trials because of his or her position in standing inside agreement with Christ about the nature of sin and death rather than to cozy up to the god of this world.
A child of God is willing to endure whatever he or she must face in this wicked world for bringing God all due honor and glory.
Jesus Christ is the Savior of all. Those individuals who choose to place faith in the finished work of Christ upon Calvary and to trust in God, despite their circumstances or scorn, wanting to serve and savor Him above any person or thing in this world.
