With All His Heart

2 Chronicles 31:20-21 (KJV) And thus did Hezekiah throughout all Judah, and wrought that which was good and right and truth before the LORD his God. And in every work that he began in the service of the house of God, and in the law, and in the commandments, to seek his God, he did it with all his heart, and prospered.

Seeking God half-heartedly is not the same as seeking Him with all your heart. Sadly, many people elect to serve God upon their lackadaisical terms rather than according to His instruction and leading.  Failing to consider and follow His direction can leave many unsuspecting people “out in the cold” when it comes to eternal matters if they have never allowed God to establish a lasting relationship.

Further, take note that Hezekiah prospered upon his companionship with God and his softened and serving regenerate heart condition.  Not only does God take care of the weighty matters and burdens in this life, but He blesses every regenerated soul as He prepares a place for His children for the certainty of the afterlife to come.

Hezekiah loved God with his whole heart.  Hezekiah chose to serve and savor God; he reaped God’s rewards on this earth and foreseeably in eternity.  You, too, can serve God in this world and spend eternity in fellowship with Him, complete with untold blessings and favor of God.
