You Cannot Redeem or Ransom Another Soul
Psalm 49:6-7 (KJB) They that trust in their wealth, and boast themselves in the multitude of their riches; 7 None of them can by any means redeem his brother, nor give to God a ransom for him.
God’s work always remains just that, God’s Work.
The redemption of a soul requires each individual make a personal choice to place his or her trust in God.
A man cannot ever redeem another man no matter how much money or works he desires to offer for the purpose of freeing a soul from hell.
Money is always a factor of influence in this world, both for good and evil purposes. However, it will do nothing towards purchasing eternal life for any lost soul. Money has no meaning or purpose in the context of heaven and eternity. God’s economy does not revolve around money like the Wall Street mindset working in this world.
Each person must place personal trust in God and His spiritual riches rather than choosing to place his hope in any financial or material resources this world has to offer. Placing trust in God can provide a return, both for physical health and especially for the health of a lost soul.
God has already provided redemption for every soul who desires to accept His gift through faith. He does not require or accept any other method or means of recovery for the spiritual health of wayward souls.
