Your Not Good
Romans 3:23 (KJB) For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.
If any man fails to believe this scripture verse verbatim, he is setting his course to receive certain destruction. What do I mean? Well, the Bible is clear to us that unless we can agree with God about the nature of sin, no person can expect to receive and apply a personal pardon and to reap eternal blessing from God.
In other words, all means all. No person can see himself as ethical, moral, or with all his ducks in a row as someone once said, apart from seeing himself as God sees him. Each of us falls way short of the glory of God. If we got what we deserved, each of us would only merit an eternal existence in Hell for all eternity.
But God, He desires to give us His glory despite our many shortcomings. Once each of us realizes this pointed truth and applies this personal lesson into our life, we can see ourselves as God sees us before the spiritual regeneration of our soul.
The bottom line, you are not good, will never be good, and will never deserve the goodness, grace, or blessing of God. However, God desires to remove your sin and shame and to give you His grace and future eternal glory.
The presence of sin comes in between a personal relationship between God and us. However, God desires to give you His glory and to remove the presence and power of sin at work in every lost spiritual heart. I hope you understand the goodness and grace of God and in contrast, your natural propensity to sin apart from God.
